About Me

Being “Mom” is like no other title I’ve ever held. It’s hard. It’s fun. It’s chaotic. It’s a balancing act. It can make you laugh and make you cry. And it makes your heart ache with so much LOVE.  It’s incredible!

I went from being a busy career girl in the buzzing New York City jewelry and watch industry to an on-duty 24/7 stay at home mom of a 3 year old and an 18 month old.  From the start, I never knew what I was in for.  Seriously.  I never even changed a diaper before that first night in the hospital!  I was a type-A persoanlity who had my planner impeccably organized, now I’m lucky to type some random notes into my iPhone notebook and watch the list of Stuff to Do grow longer and longer by the day.  I used to spend my nights in New York City having cocktails and dinner at TAO, now I’m nibbling on my daughter’s grilled cheese crusts and calling it lunch.

Already it’s been an amazing three years, but no matter how long you have been the “Mom in Charge” – this job is freakin’ hard!  I’m basically grabbing each day by the horns and learning as I go, just like a lot of other moms out there, which scares the crap out of me.   As I take on each day, I always try to remember that I’m still me and I do not want to let two kids and a lack of time turn me into a wreck — remember, you still need some time for yourself and for your sanity!  As I learn, I want to share my tips and tricks, product obsessions, ideas, and experiences that I have gained along the way.  I also want to incorporate my love for style, beauty and all things fashion, to help readers try to keep it together in their daily “mommy grind” – and even if you’re not all together, you can still look good trying!

Since this is my first blog, I must say once again I find myself in uncharted territory, it’s a new way of life for me at this point, so I’m learning to just go with it.  As you visit, you will find that I love to write, I’m not too serious and maybe just a bit sarcastic.  I love fashion, travel, laughter, good food, and above all else, my family.

I hope you enjoy my blog!
