Three Beauty Items I Couldn’t Live Without

I am definitely a product junkie.  I love to try new things out all the time and find items that work the best and save me time, if possible.

I am a huge believer of reading product reviews, so when I find something that I love, I am happy to share it!

This being my first product post, I wanted to begin with some definite beauty-musts!  These are all quick and simple and can help you look great in under two minutes!

Plus – tune in weekly to discover more Mommy-Musts for moms, kids, beauty, fashion and even maternity. I love them all and you will too!

Coconut Oil:  It’s 2018 – I know pretty much everyone knows about coconut oil and all of its amazing benefits.  But seriously, I use this stuff for EVERYTHING!  From recipes, to eye makeup remover, to bug bites, dry skin & dry winter hair.  Last year, I even ditched all of my expensive branded night creams and decided to only use coconut oil on my skin.  It truly gives a wonderful glow, especially during these cold, dry winter months.  I usually like to buy it at Trader Joe’s.  It performs the same as other brands but leaves money in my wallet to buy other goodies!  They even sell a box of coconut oil travel packets which are great to throw in your stroller or travel bag for trips.

CHANEL Inimitable Intense Mascara: A seriously amazing mascara!  This is a multi-dimensional formula that makes thinner lashes like mine look as though you have on long, false lashes.  During the day, one quick coat is all you need to make your eyes look great, then for night, if you actually get to go out, you can layer on a bit more for a more intense look!  $32 @ Nordstrom.

Ouai Dry Shampoo:  We all know that motherhood leaves you with less time for fussing with your hair (and sometimes for showering!)  A few months ago, I was rockin’ the mom messy bun a little too much so I decided to give this a try, even though I have used dry shampoos in the past and have not been all that impressed.  This one is totally different.  I tried the spray, although there is also a mousse option.  Not only did this leave my thin, lifeless mom hair with tons of volume but it smells great and does not leave that weird white powder in your hair like some other dry shampoos.  It also seems to last pretty long as you really do not need too much per application.  Sometimes the nozzle does get a bit backed up, but I just run it under some warm water and – voilà – good as new!  $24 @ Sephora.
